Red I Montage of the Event: Fuel TV Clip
WOW what a weekend of some unbelievable skating and comradeship!
If you missed this one you should be kicking yourself as this was the highest level of competition since the re-birth of competitive Freestyle in 2000.
The best of the best where there as well as some of the top and most influential legends on earth! I think it is more then safe to say that Freestyle is back and in a major way, every skater skated completely different and the crowds loved it!
I can't begin to express my thanks to all the dedicated skaters who came out to this event on there own dime, the judging panel(Mike Foster, Tim Morris, Dan Gessmer) who by far had the hardest job in the world (anyone in the top 10 could have taken it), to Russ and Shelley Howell for all their help, Kevin and Audrey Harris, Reggie Barnes, Per Welinder, Becket at PSK8, Bob Ashton, Bud Stratford, Red I Nation, all the sponsors/vendors, Anthony at Rizzo Rinks, photographers/video, Lorenzo and Owen, DJ Nonchalant, all the performers (Hard Knox Crew, The Della Zucca Dancers, Josh Shaffer), JJ, Shar, Shannon Sexton, all the fans and supporters who came out and of course Powell Peralta for believing in and supporting what we love to do! Much love and respect to you all!
Be on the look out for photos and video of this event as we will post as soon as we receive them. But here are the official results of the finals of 61 skaters! (We had close to 90 confirmed entries when all was said and done!)
